✓ Missed Early Voting? Vote on ELECTION DAY, Tuesday, November 3

October 24: Deadline for mailed or online early mail/absentee ballot requests
October 24: Early Voting begins. See early voting maps & dates/times

We are encouraging everyone to vote early this fall.
Early voting gives you peace of mind should an emergency arise on Election Day
Early Voting only became the law in NY in 2019. We fought hard for this right- let’s exercise it!
By voting early you are helping the candidates you support as they’ll no longer have to spend resources trying to get you to the polls!
VOTER REGISTRATION
Before You Vote Early, Make Sure You’re Registered!
The most important thing we can do in this election is vote—and VOTE EARLY.
But first, make sure you’re still registered. Voter rolls are regularly updated, and registrations can be removed or marked inactive. Check your status now, and ask your friends and family to check theirs too, so there’s time to fix any problem before voting begins.
NOTE: Do not use VoteSafe.org, which is funded by Elon Musk’s America PAC and may collect and share users’ personal information.

VOTE BY MAIL
Now that the Supreme Court has ruled against the Trump administration using the USPS to interfere with mail voting (thankfully), those who wish to vote by mail can feel a bit more secure, although we do encourage you to vote in person — and early! — if possible, or to drop your mail ballot off in person, either at the Board of Elections or at an early voting poll site.
Per the Ulster County Board of Elections:
Starting on September 18th, all absentee/vote-by-mail ballots for voters who have previously applied will enter the mail stream. We will also have ballots available in our office for voters who would like to apply and have the option to vote their ballot in person. BOE: 79 Hurley Ave, Ste 112, Kingston, NY 12401
To that end, we are launching our vote-by-mail program, which features a new electronic ballot tracking system. The Ulster County Electronic Ballot Delivery System will allow voters to track their ballot throughout every step of the process.
